Sunday 18th September 2011
We arrived in Rome at 1235. A quick dash through passport control and we were waiting for our luggage. After a nail biting 20 minutes of waiting, all 4 bags were accounted for. We went to find our Taxi driver who was holding up “McDonald”. We followed him the the VW 6 seated and within 30 minutes we were dropped off at our apartment.
Just off Piazza *find our name * which had a few coffee/bars.
The apartment was very modern inside, posh furniture.
After showers and a chill we went to Piazza Navono, found a restaurant which had over priced drinks (€18 for 1 litre of peroni). On the way back we got an ice cream. Chilled out then bed.
